Who are we/me?
My name is Abuga! I am a downhill skateboarder from Nairobi, Kenya. AFRICA BABY!
I started skating when I was at University (Leeds Uni, UK) as a means to get around, but over time it evolved into something more. I found myself enjoying the feeling of skating down hills and over time it snowballed into this love affair with downhill skateboarding.
But when I moved back home to Kenya I didn’t have anyone to share this passion with. So I started making blog posts and videos to stay connected with the international community, whilst simultaneously trying to build the Kenyan downhill skateboarding community.
Welcome to my blog 🙂
